This is assignment #11, for the headline i use glass text effect i had learned in 1st marking period. For the background i use white in the middle and really light green around it. On my flyer, i included the date of the event, the time that is start and end, the location of the event and a paragraph to explain a little more detail about the event, Noche de Ciencia. For the date, time and location, i use dark black so when people look at it, won't be able to miss the important part. For the paragraph, i use sky blue for it. So it can look better with some colorful color on the flyer.After finish the flyer,I save it in both JPG and PSD.
This is assignment # 12, for this assignment we have to find a dress(boys need to find a suit). Then open the dress on Photoshop and follow the steps on the internet to make you own dress. You have to go on line and find a pattern you like and put them on you dress to make it look nice.Also you can use the things you have learned before to put into this assignment to make you own dress look better and make it look the way that no one will be the same as yours. The pattern I had choose is a picture with all different sizes of stars,but i only choose one side of a big star to put on my dress.Then i change the color a little and make that side os the star look like it match with the dress. After you finish, you have to save in on JPG and PSD and send them to the teacher.
This is assignment # 13, we have to create a new poster that tell people what to eat to be healthy. For the poster we have to find a picture of junk food and change it to healthy foods. We have to use what we had learned from other assignments to change the picture into a new food picture. The junk food I use for this poster is French Fries and i changed it into vegetables.The reason i choose French Fries because most people eat French Fries everyday and they always said French Fried is make from potato,so they just tell them-self potato is vegetable too.But your body don't need the vitamin from French Fries,because the French Fries got oiled and the vegetables we eat don't have that many oil in it,so it is healthy than French Fries. After changing the picture of food, we have to put in text and the logo of the NYC Food Bank.Then save it in JPG and PSD and send them to the teacher.
Assignment # 14 is a Halloween project, we have to create our own Jack O' Lantern. There were two different website to teach how to do this project, one is easier and one is difficult. I choose the difficult one at first, but when I got up to step 8 I give up...So i choose the easier one to finish my project. To do this project, i have to find a picture with a pumpkin on it, then open it on Photoshop and cut the background off and save only the part with the pumpkin.For the background,I fill it with black then use Brush Tool to make some orange color at the back. For the eyes,nose and the mouth of the pumpkin i have to use pen tool to draw the outline of the eyes, nose and mouth first the fill in the inside with black color. After I fill in, i have to click on blending option and follow the steps on the website to make the eyes, nose and mouth look like it have light inside. After that I have to type in the text of my project, the text i type in is "Amy's Jack O'Lantern 2013". After i type in the text, I have to save it in JPG and PSD and send them to the teacher.
Assignment #15 a is to make two pictures into one picture.I have to go online and look for one picture of the England flag and one picture of a wall.Then open both of them on Photoshop and open the website that teach you how to make the flag look like it in on the wall.You just have to follow the steps on that website,you will make the same pictures as i have on the top. After I finish with the picture, i save it as JPG and PSD and send them to the teacher as the others.
Assignment # 15 b is the same steps as assignment # 15a.The only different between this two assignment is the picture that the flag will be on. Assignment # 15a is the wall, this assignment is you own picture. You have to do the same steps as assignment # 15a, after you finish all the steps, you have to use eraser to erase the parts that is not on the face and just keep the parts on the face only. Also erase the parts on the eyes and the mouth.After erasing all the things,save it as JPG and PSD and send them to the teacher as the others.
